Schedule one-time or recurring AI work such as daily briefs, weekly research and periodic checks. Set the time and time zone, open each result from run history and follow up in that run’s conversation.
From brief to result

Describe the task, sources, output format and schedule in chat, or start from Routines.

Check the task instructions, time zone and next run. Choose a separate conversation for each run or a selected conversation whose context you want to continue.

Use Run now to review the result. A manual run does not change the schedule. Refine the instructions or time if needed.

Open run history for results, progress or failure details. Pause a task when you no longer need it and resume later.

- Daily briefs: summarize changes in chosen topics and sources, with original links.
- Weekly research: collect material into a document or spreadsheet using your output requirements.
- Separate results: new tasks default to a conversation per run, reached from history rather than filling your everyday chat.
Every Monday at 9 am in the Asia/Shanghai time zone, review the past seven days of updates on the three official project sites I specify. Use official sources only and list new features, dates and links. Say clearly when there are no updates. Start a separate conversation for each run and produce a one-page brief. Confirm the instructions and next run time first.
What to bring
- Save the complete instructions and source references in the task. A separate run does not automatically inherit the entire conversation used to create it.
- Specify the date, frequency and time zone. If a task needs your computer, make sure it is online and the required files are available.
Review and refine the result
- After the first run, check the source scope, date range and format. Update the saved task instructions for future runs.
- Open a specific run from history to ask follow-up questions. Confirm schedule changes in the task settings.
Scope and requirements
- Routines start on a schedule. They are not continuous monitoring and cannot guarantee that an external site is available or a result completes at an exact second.
- Expired sign-ins, required verification, an offline computer or insufficient allowance can affect a run. Check its status and resolve the cause before running again.

A few good questions
Does every result appear in my main chat?
New tasks default to a separate conversation per run, opened from task history. Choose an existing conversation when the task needs its context. Existing tasks keep the mode saved in their settings.
Does Run now change the next scheduled run?
No. A manual run gives you an extra result without changing the schedule. Edit the task and check its next run time when you want a different frequency or time.
Can a routine run while my phone is closed?
Cloud tasks do not need the mobile app to stay open. A task that runs on your computer needs that device online with the desktop app available. Sign-in or verification steps may still require your input.
